Samudra Beach Villa Overview

Samudra beach house offers a relaxed Sri Lankan getaway on the island’s stunning southern coastline. The two-bedroom villa has a relaxed beach house feel to it, with plantation chairs, canopied beds and swaying palm trees adding an exotic Sri Lankan twist to the alluring mix. Large lawns and a 17-metre pool are just the icings on the cake. Samudra Beach Villa offers direct access to Habaraduwa Beach, with surf schools and the UNESCO protected Galle Fort waiting within a short drive.

Living Room

Samudra House’s living room has a tropical open-sided layout, with the relaxed seating area fluidly connecting to the poolside deck. The fan-cooled room is furnished with two white sofas and plantation chairs, with local art and antique pieces adding interest. Satellite TV and a DVD player provide in-villa entertainment when desired.

Dining Room

The villa features a beautiful open-plan dining pavilion, with a dining table seating six guests offering serene views of the pool. The kitchen is located to the back of the living room in the main house.

Garden & Pool

Though the glorious beachfront access would be more than enough to satisfy even the most jaded of travellers, Samudra House also offers guests the delight of a 17-swimming pool. The pool is lined with six sunbeds and three parasols, with lush green lawns dotted with picturesque palm trees. From the garden, a private gate opens to direct beach access.

Bedrooms

Samudra has two bedrooms, both furnished with a king-sized bed. Both bedrooms are located on ground level.

Villa Manager

Samudra Beach Villas’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Location

Samudra Beach Villa is located on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, close to the historic hub of Galle. The villa is located directly on Habaraduwa Beach and offers seasonally safe swimming. Weligama Beach offers several surf schools about 20 minutes from the villa. The UNESCO-protected Galle Fort can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. Located close to the main road, Samudra House also offers convenient access to the national parks, though you need to drive a few hours to reach them. Sri Lanka’s south coast is also a popular destination for whale watching.
